INVISUS Anti-Virus V2 Installation Guide

This guide is to explain the various options available when installing INVISUS Anti-Virus V2. INVISUS Anti-Virus V2 must be installed from an Administrator account on your PC.

Warning

On Windows XP service pack 2, if another antivirus package has been installed, a warning message appears to show the other antivirus software package. Please Note: We strongly recommend that you do not install INVISUS Anti-Virus V2 on a PC that already has an antivirus package installed. Doing so can cause significant issues with the normal operation of the operating system. We advise that you uninstall the previous antivirus package completely before attempting to install INVISUS Anti-Virus V2.

Welcome

This is the initial screen to be shown welcoming you to the installation of INVISUS Anti-Virus V2.

• Press the Help button to view this page.
• Press the Cancel button to cancel the installation.
• Press the Next button to go to next screen.

EULA

This shows the End User Licence Agreement that has to be accepted to continue with the installation. Select I accept the terms in the Licence Agreement to continue.

• Press the Back button to return to the previous part of the installation.
• Press the Cancel button to cancel the installation.
• Press the Next button to next screen.

Directory

This shows the directory into which the files will be installed. If a previous INVISUS product has been installed this screen will not appear, as all INVISUS products are installed to the same location.

• Press the Back button to return to the previous part of the installation.
• Press the Cancel button to cancel the installation.
• Press the Next button to next screen.

Icons

Desktop and quick launch icons can be created for use. For desktop icons Create desktop icons needs to be ticked. For quick launch icons Create quick launch icons needs to be ticked.

• Press the Back button to return to the previous part of the installaion.
• Press the Install button to start the installation
• Press the Cancel button to st the installation.

Installing

This shows the progress of the installation and will provide an idea of how long the installation process will take.

Reboot

After installation a reboot of the machine is required. On restart of Windows, the installed INVISUS products will automatically start. To reboot later select I want to manually reboot later, however INVISUS products will not function correctly until the machine has been rebooted.
